One of the fun parts of birdwatching is taking pics of the amazing birds at your feeders & bird baths, then sharing your joy with others! We have a seminar to help all levels of amateur photographers grow in your skills of capturing living nature. Whether you use a smart phone or more sophisticared camera equipment, we can all benefit from professional advice. We are thrilled to welcome conservation photographer Rebecca Houseman* to provide tips & tricks for improving your nature photography and answer your questions. A representative from Kenmore Camera will also be on hand to provide equipment recommendations. This event will launch our Photo Contest! Attendees to the seminar with Rebecca Houseman may enter a drawing for a Modern Rustic Hanging Tray Feeder along with a 5lb bag of your favorite birdseed!
Photo Contest Calling all amateur photographers! We are excited to announce a Wildlife & Birding Photo Contest! Three Categories to enter: 1) Birds at a clearly displayed feeder or water feature 2) Any PNW bird from WA, OR, or BC Canada 3) Birds in their environment (wide angle shots) Winners will be announced at the Photography Open House Sept. 20th!
